Real Real Estate Buyer Leads
A high quality website is only as good as the traffic or visitors that go there!
Well over 90% of real estate websites out there depend on traffic from search engines like Google to bring visitors who hopefully turn into good leads.
With Google still remaining the #1 source to get leads, you would best understand the difference between a Higher-Quality Google Lead or an Average to Low-End Paid Lead.
On Google there’s the paid positions (PPC ads) and the earned positions (organic).
So ask yourself this question… How often do you click on the ads? Maybe never? … So who does?
What are the chances that somebody with real money to spend on real estate is likely to click on these ads? Close to zer0 ?
PPC – The basics
Have you noticed there’s only 4 positions at the top of the Google search for paid ads?
Of course there’s always the bottom positions on page 1, 2 or 3, but who wants to be there?
So in the world of paid leads, there’s only 4 positions that matter to pick up what is potentially a very average lead.
So what happens if 10, 20 or 50 agents are all trying to get leads from these top four positions?
A Bidding war to pick up what is potentially a very average lead.
Have you ever asked your lead provider either of these 2 questions…
How many clients do YOU have, using the same website in my area?
Do you buy most of MY leads from these Google ads?
Potentially a very challenging situation to get a decent lead.
Can you get High-Quality Leads from these top four positions?
Let’s assume that a million-dollar transaction is a higher-end event in your market.
Generally speaking, people who have a million bucks are pretty unlikely to click on Google ads.
And the rare one that does, is now faced with a new website that instantly tells them they have to surrender their personal information.
How likely are they to do that? What’s the likelihood you would do that? Close to zer0?
So if you are relying almost exclusively on paid leads, what happens if your ad isn’t in the top 4 because your web provider sells to every agent & their dog?
Bottom of the barrel, tire kicker, leads from the rock bottom of the page.
Now that you know what’s really going on, you might ask yourself …
How great is that? I’m sending lots of garbage leads to my agents & hoping they stay motivated.
It’s super important that you understand that organic leads are significantly better than the paid (PPC) ones. These are the positions on Googs that are earned, below the ads
Generally speaking, leads that come from organic positions are 5-10 times better and that says a lot !
So if Google is number one place to get leads, what are your alternatives?
Showing up everywhere is the alternative. Showing up where the going is good in the organic results, in the places where the real estate searchers are serious.
At a local level, and the subdivision level where people really know where they want to live.
Sellers search locally
Buyers search locally (when they are further along in the buying process)
If your website isn’t local, it’s not Delivering the goods!
Landing Pages are the only way to get local.
If you want to properly represent your area, you’re going to need 100’s or 1,000s of these.
So ask yourself… How many Landing Pages do I currently have?
Or perhaps you might ask this Q to your existing web provider.
As you may already know, we like to build large websites with thousands of Landing Pages, getting right down to the local level. Our largest site to date has over 50,000!
Each and every one of these pages is search engine optimized, with a built-in message to Google, telling the search engine exactly what is being presented.
This is not standard industry practice. We have very few competitors that have demonstrated any technical prowess or understanding about search engine optimization and the only provider that we are aware of, charges crazy money for sites nowhere remotely near as big as ours.
The chances are close to 0 that you will have any competition in your area with a website approaching this size, that is fully search engine optimized.
Take a look at our example below that shows the result of building many different should search engine optimized pages that cover the category in many different ways.
We’ve learned from this and our new generation site, which is much bigger and offers huge potential to dominate the search.
